Munich, February 29, 2024 – The Munich-based car subscription provider FINN will prioritize sustainable growth in its core German market and the electrification of its fleet in the future over cost-intensive, rapid growth as part of further expansion. For this reason, the business in the USA will be paused.

FINN has established itself as a leading car subscription provider in Germany in recent years and expanded into the USA in 2021. In January 2024, the company also successfully closed a Series C financing round of EUR 100 million to further electrify its fleet in the coming years, thus accelerating the adaptation of electric vehicles.

In the future, the Munich-based company will focus even more on sustainable growth in its German core market. The main focus will be on electrifying the current FINN fleet and further growth in low-emission vehicles. This is in line with FINN's priorities following the recent funding round.

FINN will be in contact with existing US customers in the coming days and will continue to serve those customers until the portfolio is fully wound down.

FINN is convinced that the US holds massive potential for the car subscription model and will continue to assess the market conditions for reentry into the US.

FINN is very grateful to all employees of the US team as well as the OEMs and partners, for their contribution to building the business in the US market.
