Tell us about a challenge your team tackled together – and how you made it through

Working with B2B clients in Key Account Management brings daily challenges—ranging from minor everyday issues to larger, often unpredictable situations. In our team, there's always someone willing to help. Whether it’s during our morning stand-up, the weekly team meeting, or a quick Slack huddle, we openly share knowledge so everyone benefits. This spirit of collaboration really helps us navigate even the most complex problems.

One recent example: due to sick leave and vacation absences, our team was quite short-staffed and, to put it bluntly, “running on fumes.” But no one hesitated to step up. We all pitched in to handle the requests and accounts of absent colleagues, even managing much larger portfolios than usual for several days. When teammates returned, we ensured a smooth handover of all open topics. That way, no one felt rushed back to work or had to go on vacation with a guilty conscience.

If someone joined your team tomorrow, what would surprise them most?

You’d be surprised how quickly you feel like part of the team. From day one, there’s a strong sense of belonging—you’re not just another new face, but someone we’re genuinely excited to welcome. People from all departments and levels are open to connecting, whether it’s for a casual coffee chat or to offer support when you need it.

Very quickly, you’ll see how approachable and inclusive everyone is—whether they’re in your direct team or another department, people are happy to answer questions and include you in meaningful conversations.


Through cross-functional projects, you’ll gain insights into different areas of the business and build real relationships. And your perspective matters from day one—your ideas are heard, and your contributions make an impact. It’s this mix of trust, collaboration, and real support that makes working at FINN so unique.

What’s a lesson your team has learned together that stuck with you?

In our Key Account Management team, we’ve discovered one essential truth: staying genuinely close to our B2B customers makes all the difference. It’s not enough to meet over the phone or in an online call and talk business. Real connections happen in person, at eye level—because truly understanding our customers’ needs means knowing the people behind the deals.


It’s the small talk, the human stories, and the shared moments that strengthen our collaboration. These are the conversations people remember, and they show real interest in building a partnership—not just closing a sale. This insight really crystallized for us during our own customer events and has since become a core focus for our team.


We’re proud to have the support and budget to visit our customers—not to knock on doors, but to shake hands, have honest conversations, and build long-lasting, authentic relationships. That’s what makes our approach unique, and it’s something we’re committed to continuing.
